Hello Cougar Families! Here are a few things going on at CCS this week:
- No school for students on Friday, November 22nd: It is a report card writing day and PL day for educational staff.
- Cougar Trait:
During the month of November we have been focusing on the character trait of Responsibility. Responsibility is one of the “Be Strong” traits, which can be described as “taking action and understanding the impact of our choices.” Taking action can mean doing the right thing or completing the tasks you have been assigned. Understanding the impact of our choices means that our actions matter, to ourselves and others. Positive and responsible actions can help people and irresponsible actions can hurt others. - Parent Teacher Bookings:
Report Cards will be going home with CCS students on December 3rd and Parent – Teacher Interviews will be held on December 5 & 6th. Be watching for details coming home about booking your child’s parent-teacher interviews. A letter will be coming home, as well as an email with a link for booking. - Scholastic Book Fair:
Thanks for supporting the book fair at CCS last week. As a result, we were able to get over $900 of books for our school library. Thanks to Mrs. O’Keefe for the time and work that she put in to making this possible for our students. - Picture Retake Orders:
If your child got picture retakes, please return the order envelope to the office by Wednesday, November 20th. - November’s Free Wednesday Lunches are as follows:
November 20th: Baked Potatoes
November 27th: Pizza - PJs for Emma:
Pajama collection is continuing at CCS this week. Pjs can be sent in with a student, dropped off in the box outside the office during school hours or contact Mrs. Debertin (Angela.Graham-Debertin@nbed.nb.ca) and she will happily arrange pick up. Next Wednesday, November 27th we will have a book celebration at CCS at which time Emma’s parents will collect the pajamas that we collected. - Mark your calendar for these upcoming dates:
