Dance Update:
The Spring Fling Glow Dance is rescheduled for MAY 22.
Jump Rope for Heart:
Fundraising has started for Jump Rope for Heart. Proceeds go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and some come back to our school to support heart healthy activities. Fundraising at CCS takes place until May 2nd (we want to give time to get all our prizes back before the end of the year). Our goal is to raise $1000 as a school.
WABANAKI ART PROJECT:
CCS students are all getting to participate in a collaborative Art Project that will be a representation of the beautiful and bountiful river, The Wolastoq (Saint John) River. Once the project is complete, we will share it with you.
Home and School:
Are you interested in helping our school community? Our Home and School are looking for volunteers to help in a variety of ways. Please reach out if you are interested in helping in any way. See the flyer that comes home with your child this week.
Here are a few reminders for the week ahead:
- Monday: Easter Monday- NO SCHOOL
- Tuesday: Earth Day- some students will be participating in activities to help our planet.
- Wednesday’s Free Lunch is Pancakes.
- Thursday: Grades 3-5 Drama Practices: 2:35 – 5:00. Please ensure that your child has a note to indicate that they have permission to stay after school for this practice.
- Friday: Grade 7 immunizations for those students whose parents registered them in the fall. This is the second set of immunizations.

Monday: No School
Tuesday: 6:00- 7:30 MS Girls Volleyball, 7:30-9:00 U14 Boys Basketball
Wednesday: 7:00-8:30 Grades 4-8 Girls Basketball
Thursday: 4:00-7:30 Girls Volleyball Team will host games at CCS, 7:30-9:00 U14 Boys Basketball
Friday: 7:00-8:30 Girls Spring League B-Ball Game
FMS Volleyball Open Gym: NO Tuesday volleyball at FMS until April 29th!
