7. Change in Leadership at CCS – A note from Mrs. K:  While I had no plans to step away from CCS, an opportunity arose and I have accepted an appointment in a district leadership role for the rest of this year and next school year. Starting next week, April 29th, Mme Shaw will be the Acting Principal and Mrs. Springer, the Acting Vice-Principal at CCS for the rest of this school year. These very capable leaders have been an integral part of the leadership here at CCS and you all can continue to count on their strong skill set and knowledge of students to provide continuity for the remainder of the school year. I will be here this week to finish preparations for Music Festival and transitioning. CCS will remain near and dear to my heart, and I will be keeping connected in my district role as well.  I look forward to hearing about all the wonderful things that continue to happen at CCS. I have loved my last few years as a Cougar and will continue to wear my Cougar pride during my 16 months away from the role.

Have a wonderful week!
